I would say it’s satire, but with Obozo, anything is believable.

BTW....a pole-smoker as US Ambassador will not go over well in such a heavily Catholic country.

Not bloody likely. Cooper makes far too much money in his current position to take a low paid ambassadorship.

I wouldn’t be surprised if this is true... 0 has been aggressively promoting homosexuality throughout the world using the diplomatic corps.

Obama saw a very nice TV story that Mr Cooper did from the Philippines. It was a good story and was done well by him and more than anything it praised the people of the Philippines for the many good qualities that Mr Cooper observed there after typhoon Yolanda.

I personall do not care for Obama or Mr Cooper; but I think many people in the Philippines, especially the many who saw Mr Cooper’s report, will be pleased by the choice.

Satire is getting harder and harder to recognize.

Over the last few years, a typical day’s reading of the news will at some point leave me praying “please be satire, please god let this headline be satire”. More often than not I am disappointed, with the real world news competing with The Onion for new levels of outlandish.

It’s actually refreshing to find a story that IS satire.

Well . . . . looking at some of the “Spoils” appointments of ambassadorships handed out by The Great ObamaNation this is dances on the thin line between satire and plausibility.

PN751 * DEPARTMENT OF STATE
Philip S. Goldberg, of the District of Columbia, a Career Member of the Senior
Foreign Service, Class of Career-Minister, to be Ambassador Extraordinary and
Plenipotentiary of the United States of America to the Republic of the Philippines.

I am so sorry this was not true; rather a cruel hoax. I am deeply saddened by the news that Mr. Cooper will not be AmbASSadoor. LOLOLOL!
