Because they want to play nice and get along so they will help Obama and the Rats with supporting extensions and so forth.

IMO, insurance companies love this new legislation. They charge more - because of the “high use” customers who will pay for the plan - Govt assistance. The deductible is so unreasonably high, that all the savings are gone.

The insurance company gets money from the policy then makes the deductible so high that no one uses it, thus keeping more money.

Knock on wood, I am very healthy and don’t go to the doc on any type of regular basis. I’d rather just have to pay for my entire visit instead of an insurance policy AND the cost of the visit.

In any case....Obamacare and the subsequent changes by Obama are in violation of HIPPA regulations.

These Rat Commissioners just made it quite easy for those in red states to follow suit and not be targeted. Too bad, Sen. Landrieu.

Libs are also so myopic. Yeah, it looked good on paper.

But, what about the unintended consequences?

We see now that Obamacare is wrought with unintended consequences.

You can bet the decision Obama made today is wrought with unintended consequences.

The Obamacare/Website/Implementation Delays are going to end up costing $Billions. Who will get stuck with that? The taxpayers.

He will see it as, he tried to give the people a break, he tried to give the insurance companies a break, he tried to give the GOP a break... but no one was smart enough to make it work in spite of his being so willing to compromise.

Obama is hoping the state insurance commissioners will bail his butt out of this fiaso HE has created.

His remarks today only compound the problems and create new problems.

"Do we even have the rule of law anymore? "

That's what the insurers should say.

On teh advice of Council, we will continue to obey the Law of the Land as written until it may be repealed or legally revised.

Where are the lawsuits or injunctions?

You make an excellent point. There are TEA Party Democrats. Most of the “elite” aren’t aware of that since they think the TEA Party is an actual political party like the Ds or Rs. Its a grassroots movement - but, they are too dumb to understand this.

They didn't get the word. This whole move is based on the insurance companies not being able to do it. Then Obama flips around and says "it's not my fault, it's the insurance companies."

Obama can't fix the problem, he is just trying to shift the blame.

CA plans to cooperate by telling the exchange to let insurers out of their agreements with the exchanges to cancel non-compliant plans. What if the insurers don’t cooperate?

From Today's presser. "So state insurance commissioners still have the power to decide what plans can and can’t be sold in their states, but the bottom line is insurers can extend current plans that would otherwise be cancelled into 2014."

The Commissioners in red states can pretty much clean out the exchanges, because Obama gave them control over what policies are offered. Moron!
