I dunno. They likely reflect the narcissism of the man they elected President. And regarding soft-skills, a lifetime of texting appears to have totally destroyed their writing skills.

You are closer than you realize. My eldest daughter got a degree in social work and was good at it. She also discovered it was quite a racket: agencies pay the workers who actually perform the services a pittance while billing the county three or more times that amount for administration and overhead. She decided to go to a low tuition out of state school and started out working for the required year to establish residency.

It was a customer service job. They liked her so well that her 39.5 hours (later reduced to 29.5 hours to avoid ObaMaoCare) became a full time job with benefits by the end of the year. She looked at the long-term income and potential, then quit her part-time social work job to take the promotion.

In a way, she regrets not putting her social work degree to use. But in a "what benefits me the most?" sort of way, she already has.
