What does “loss of trust” mean in the firing of Air Force ICBM head Gen. Michael Carey?

Last week the man in charge of America’s Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) defense system was fired by Barack Obama. Of course you have heard almost nothing about this from Obama’s kept media. They have no curiosity about why General Michael Carey, a man with a sterling record of service to our nation; and as a 35 year Air Force officer would be fired with no reasons offered by this anti-military Administration.

In the middle of his golf tour and a few threatening statements to Ted Cruz, Barack Obama found time to flop General Carey from his position as commander of our most essential missile defense system.

In the absence of media scrutiny speculation is filling in the blanks. The website militarycorruption.com is covering this story and as usual it is doing an outstanding job. Thinking out allowed, MC.com wonders what the General could have done wrong; or more to the point what he...

THE FOREIGNER is doing nothing but PURGING THE MILITARY to be replaced by his FAITHFUL DRONES. This is de-couping the military like any BANANA REPUBLIC does when new leaders take COMPLETE POWER. How long is the republican leadership going to sit on their hands with their eyes wide shut.

It is a means of removing a senior Officer without going through a lot of administrative steps. They aren’t “fired” in the sense that someone is fired in the private sector. They are removed from a particular job. They aren’t kicked out of the military......yet.
If the military started firing admirals and generals, well, people might realize that they really aren’t perfect.

“On Sept. 3 a whistle-blower said nukes stored at Dyess AFB, TX were being transported SC.”

Dyess is home to B-1s. B-1s would be armed with strategic air launched nuclear weapons in most instances if nuclear orders were given. They might have some tactical nukes there but I’d assume more likely strategic. The only bases in S.C. are Shaw AFB which is an F-16 base and JB Charleston which flies C-17s. F-16s do not fly with strategic nukes. I simply can’t see the reason to transfer what are likely strategic nukes to a base that cannot use them.

According to Air Force Magazine on line:
“Air Force Global Strike Command chief Lt. Gen. James Kowalski announced that he had relieved Carey of duty “due to a loss of trust and confidence in his leadership and judgment.” This action came after allegations against Carey of “personal misbehavior” during a temporary duty assignment. Information Kowalski received from personnel who traveled with Carey prompted Kowalski this summer to engage the Air Force’s inspector general to look into the matter, said Stefanek.”

Looks like he was a bad boy on TDY, and was reported by his travel mates.

Complete loss of trust in BHO. Time to start a public demand for the dictator to abdicate.

Generals and Admirals get sacked all the time. Not in large numbers, but there are always those who have zipper problems or problems with the bottle (probably the cause in this case), or some other incident. Usually, the root cause is that they let their ego get out of control. As overachievers all of their lives, they begin to think that they are bullet proof and start abusing their privileges and authority. I’ve see it happen a number of times with friends, colleagues, and former bosses. Obama didn’t even know who this guy is.

In my opinion, we don’t sack enough of them. The real scandal is that too much gets swept under the rug and someone’s fair haired boy gets protected. If you screw up at that level, you need to be gone. That’s how you keep the military from becoming the cess pool that is the rest of government.

Maybe he is another one who refuses to fire on American citizens? (especially with nukes)

The Military has been infiltrated at the highest levels with libtards

DING DING DING!

All of this military purging is about one thing -
removing any leadership that will refuse to do unconscionable things.

Are you thinking clearly about this?

Think...

who is in charge?

If this was a scandal that would get rid of him like sex or stealing or something the media would be having a field day - it would be 24/7 coverage.

But this was for ‘loss of trust’- and the media has no curiosity about it?
-NONE-!!!

For a career man with 35 years stellar service?

Could it be because could be because General Carey has expressed an unwillingness to participate in a future Obama order to institute martial law?

You guys are all going “Coup!”, when the answer is much more simple and obvious: this is what happens when you have women in front line service. We’ve seen it time and again. Look at all the pregnancies at sea. Look at all of the ship captains, squadron commanders, and soldiers that have been relieved of duty. This is the inevitable result of putting women with men in tight quarters and in military bases.

I have no personal knowledge about different kinds of nukes and I don’t know if this is a fact but I believe I heard that the company line was there wasn’t supposed to be nukes at Dyess.

The curious thing to me was the timing of everything. The whistle-blower provided the info BEFORE Lindsey Graham made his statement Charleston Harbor being a target for a nuke attack if Syria wasn’t attacked. That’s curious. Then the #1 and #2 guys over the nukes get removed from their positions.

The MSM hasn’t covered a possible transfer of nukes under odd circumstances but it has covered the odd circumstances under which the #1 and #2 guys got turfed. The shady goings on surrounding the Minot AFB nukes got coverage in ‘07 but this is buried. It just doesn’t smell right to me.

you make a valid point but there is something wrong here

this is a case of “the dog that didn’t bark”

The media is NOT all over this... why? They usually love to take down a General Officer.

They are not barking because they recognize their master, Obama, at work.
