This is a horrible strategy.
When something this big is implemented, it becomes almost impossible to kill. As Mark Levin stated, if Democrats (particularly Red State Democrats) are seemingly unconcerned with how their constituencies feel now, how will that change their positions in the future?
Yet, the strategy among some Republicans is basically saying, “Let's let this thing be implemented, destroy our current health-care system, and bring harm to the majority of the citizens. That's the way we win elections.”
Gee, why don't we use that same strategy with the deficit, or why don't we go ahead and completely open the borders? We can crash the economy and lose our sovereignty as a country! That would be great! We could win every election then!
Even though I'm certain many of those supposedly on our side are far more concerned with looking good to the media than looking good to the electorate, I'm fairly certain that a number of the elected Republicans are actually drinking the same Kool-aid as their Democrat counterparts, and actually are supportive of Obamacare. As of now, that's a bigger problem for us than our fight against the Democrat Party.
Well said, RT. The current crop of Republicans, with a few exceptions, are nothing but run of the mill democrats posing as conservatives when it is close to election time.
Exactly correct. And we know the exact talking points they would use once it is funded.
How in the world can you repeal this now. People are dependent on it. The very act of removing it would cause an economic recession. All we need is to fix a few things or go to single payer. yada. yada. yada.
This Oligarchy has to end.
