Color me VERY skeptical that a) this is true, and b) if true, that it's on the level.

Don’t be so used to losing, fellow patriots, that you just give up. Ted Cruz is Reagan-like, and can do the unexpected. Now it’s up to us to do our part. TED CRUZ CAN’T DO IT WITHOUT US. He is a leader, but we must help him.
In fact, besides calling your senator, and signing petitions, if you live close to your senators’ hometown office, give him/her a visit. I heard that is very powerful, and more so, if you bring a short letter to give the senator. It sure wouldn’t hurt to bring a friend, either.
My thoughts as well. It's a last minute meaningless ploy to keep contributions coming in to the RNC.
It is the equivilent of voting for Cloture and then voting against the bill.
It's meaningless this late in the game.
