and the phones are ringing off the hook...”

I would suspect that the phones of those that truly care about their constituents are ringing and are quickly being answered. Called Cruz’s DC office and it was answered on the second ring. Called all of Cornyn’s offices, lines were either busy, I was shuttled off to the voice mailbox which was full or there was dead silence followed by a dial tone and disconnect. Fax machine rang and rang but never picked up so assume no paper in the fax machine, I would suspect they all went home early so they won’t have to deal with those pesky callers.

“Please don’t fall for this act by Reince Priebus ..”

Even if he, and other Republicans, are doing the right thing for the wrong reason, it might save us from Obama”care.”

KEEP FIGHTING!

DON’T LET TED CRUZ DOWN!

Oh please RNC. It’s easy to do this because it means nothing. They know cloture will be invoked, so they just say “we support Sen Cruz” when they know it is meaningless. They do that so they can tell us “see. We did it!” No. I would have believed them if they led with this or if they had done it weeks ago but not now.

In short, with all respect to the OP, this is a crock.

A few posted this afternoon there were getting “all circuits busy” recordings.

Some people said the Republican aides were claiming to many people were calling and emailing, it was jamming up the systems. One person said he was hung up on.

The DC GOP is not happy.

Senator Cruz is reading twits on the floor of the senate......nice

“Did you call your senators and sign the petition?”

Hell yes I did!

Fortunately I live in Idaho with two pretty conservative senators. I told them that I stand with Senator Ted Cruz and hope that they will too. We’ll see.

Then I went to dontfundit.com and signed the petition.

We MUST do this people. Senator Cruz is showing the rest of the GOP what a LEADER looks like. Ronaldus Magnus would be proud.

CRUZ/WEST 2016!

My theory: Cruz is trying to move the needle further against WhoMeCare by going straight to the people. But since in the GOPe’s view he’s already been outmanuevered (through Dem/Rep teamwork) it’s safe for the GOPe to say they support him now. They know how it’s going to play out, the game is rigged.

Now they want to give Cruz a pat on the head in an attempt to buy the tea party off. That won’t work with Cruz or the Tea Folks. We know the game is rigged.

I have asked Schumer and Gillibrand if they are Pro-Choice on ObamaCare.

Money talks, I hope they are listening.”

The only thing your contribution will earn you is more requests for contributions. Seriously doubt if your comments were even read by anyone or if anyone at the National organization cares about what you think.

The only organization we contribute to is Jim DeMint’s and then only a small amount. No more contributions from our household to organizations. Everything else we contribute goes to a specific person whose position we happen to agree with and who appears to need some financial assistance.

I did work a phone bank for a candidate on the east coast during the last election. Few people who would answer the call were really surprised by my obvious Texas accent, although I did try to tone it down a bit.

Dan Coats DC office always has a “voicemail full” recording.

Donnelly at least lets you leave a message.

Got through at Coats Indy office and talked to a very nice gal who took my info and let me rant a bit and said she understood and would pass along my concerns.

Just wanted to add two cents. About thirty minutes ago I sent Mr. Prebius an extremely harsh letter basically it said I am through, do you hear me? Not another dime and I’m damn sure not volunteering ever again. You give me moderate candidates I can barely stomach voting for and now you don’t stand with Cruz at this pivotal time so I am through with GOP crap. Burn it down!!!!

Sorry to be so visceral and gross now but I’m tired of this punk ass crap. As the great Josey Wales said “don’t piss down my back and tell me its raining” And I’m a girl. A mad girl.

The good never run out of time even if they have to do something else. It’s the bad that do.

> Did you call your senators and sign the petition?

I live in New York:

Chuck Schumer (D)
Kirsten Gillibrand (D)

And if you mean "http://www.dontfundobamacare.com/", I don't sign online petitions:

  1. This one only asks for First/Last/Email. Without a postal address, the signature is not considered valid; it's just a "feel-good" action.
  2. Online petitions aren't worth the virtual paper they aren't printed on, they're way too easy to fake.
  3. They only generate more spam email for my inbox that I have to delete.
So, no, sorry. I'll continue to do what I can, at the independent, individual, level. But no offense intended, it's a free country and lots of people believe in such petitions, best of luck to them.

It is already clear that 98 of the 100 Senators are treasonous scumbags.

Check here to see if your state's US Senate scumbag has a conservative challenger for either the primary or general election.

I want to offer what little financial support I can to anyone who runs as a conservative against any Republican in the Senate who fails to support Ted Cruz in this effort.

I’m sick and tired of these RINOs, and I hope we can all start pushing good conservatives into races that will help us retire every one of them.

,"IT'S A TRAP !!!"

My thoughts as well. It's a last minute meaningless ploy to keep contributions coming in to the RNC.

It is the equivilent of voting for Cloture and then voting against the bill.

It's meaningless this late in the game.

This is a good sign. Mr.P has chosen sides. He must think the Conservatives just might prevail. I don’t think he would support this because of any sort of principles beyond not being on the losing side.

get the Government out of healthcare and the other areas where it has insinuated itself

Using an axe and a 16# sledge is pretty heavy "insinuation."
