I'm posting this just for fun and because Ted Cruz said we need more Jesse Helms types. We certainly do and this artilce demonstrates why. The full article is enjoyable reading. Helms basically told both Kerry and Wellstone to shut up and demonstrated the democrats' and Lugar's hypocrisy.
Lugar was a worthless liberal even then and unfortunately, succeeded Helms as chairman, and capitulated to the democrats at every turn. So glad he's gone!
