Can you belive what a nightmare ordeal it must have been?
Those poor negroes that were hung by the (democrat) KKK have no idea how lucky they were to get off so easy...

Oprah is a particularly disgusting example of something pretty widespread in American society.
Loud and relentless ridicule is the only anecdote

She was in The Color Purple - did she do a racism thing then? Just wondering.

Sorry, Oprah has played the race card and is now on my DILLIGAFF (Do I Look Like I Give A Flying F...) list.
Shove it, Oprah.

a lot of the entertainment industry is simply being the in the right place at the right time...like being a black woman, when a station needed a black woman....she speaks well, but other than that, she is just another person..
how arrogant these "beaten" down people get when they are the rich and powerful....how condescending...how smug...how selfish...how self centered....

And America take note, the shop owner is not backing down and is supporting her employee. Which is why The Oprah now looks stupid, she’s not used to be called on her BS.

“The New York Daily News cited sources close to Winfrey as saying the talk show host was first rebuffed by a clerk and then a store manager. The Daily News reported Winfrey had gone to the store to buy a watch for singer Tina Turner, her dining partner that night.”
Funny thing. She was in Switzerland for Tina Turners wedding. Maybe Tina is the common theme!

I was in Beverly Hill with my wife several years ago. We stopped in Tiffani’s to look at jewelry. The racist people that worked there would not let my wife try on a 5 carrot diamond ring. And we are both white. I should have filed a lawsuit for discrimination. They probably would have given us the ring then.

And we learned that the shop owner was at a party the very next day along with Oprah, and she didn't mention the incident?
She has gone the way of Jesse and Al.

Winfrey insisted that she WAS a victim of racism and she experienced what 'people of black or brown color experience daily.' -------------
Americans of Indian ancestry are brown and you almost never hear them complain about racism. Instead, they stay out of trouble and stress academic achievement and entrepreneurialship. That could be why Americans of Indian ancestry are, on average, among the most successful ethnic groups, and why they don't seem to encounter this mythic institutional racism as much as other brown people.

Oprah has refined imaginary racism to a highly profitable enterprise.
Her audience is so stupid that they will buy anything she pushes.

It’s just comical to hear someone carrying a purse costing more than most people’s CARS crying ‘victim’. But then, it’s a daily thing with people driving Escalades to shop for steak and lobster while using other people’s money.
Victims—aren’t we all.
