Just as President Obama is about to deliver a report card on his health-care overhaul initiative, two Internal Revenue Service officials charged with implementing the plan have been placed on administrative leave for accepting free food and gifts, according to reports.

The Hill reported late Wednesday that Fred Schindler and Donald Toda are accused of accepting more than $1,100 in food and gifts during a 2010 conference in Anaheim, Calif. Schindler reportedly is a top aide to Sarah Hall Ingram, chief of the IRS’s health-care office. She also presided over the office that approved tax exemptions when conservative groups allegedly were targeted.

Obama ordered his IRS to rig the election of 2012 for Obama and democrats/socialists in the Senate. Obama also used other gov agencies to rig the election. Why isn’t anyone shouting this form the rooftops? Come on Levin, coulter , Sarah Palin, Rush, DRudge etc. call Obama out on this and call for Obama’s resignation.

Obama’s IRS prevented many tea party groups from getting started The IRS stole the election. We no longer live in a free country

We are in a state much akin to 1930’s Germany. I wonder if its to late to start a ‘White Rose’ organization?

[...have been placed on administrative leave for accepting free food and gifts...]

Werner was asked how long does it take to terminate employees committing these kind of acts, he replied, it could take years.

The next question should have been, how much of that time is the result of union negotiation?

I had a thought - the Federal Travel Regulations limit the amount of funds expended per traveler even when a conference is held. For instance in Las Vegas the maximum lodging rate is $99 unless it is one of five execptions and conferences is one of them. so they may receive up to 300% of $99 or $297 per night. Now for the conference to cost $4 million, the room rate must have exceeded the allowable per diem and every single traveler is responsible for every penny over and above the maximum. I would be interested in knowing how many employees attended and if the room rate exceeded the maximum. I would not care if every employee had to pay the difference and interest to boot!

Also, if the hotel threw in those pricy room, they would be considered a gift and those staying there would have to claim it on their income tax as well. At least that is what I remember the rules were.

Worth looking into!
