First of all, I didn’t post it. Second, if I were to post what I have written in full, then legally the content belongs to Free Republic rather than me. If people don’t want to go to my blog, no one is forcing them to click on the link.

For the record, I don’t make any money off of it, so the only reason I write is to express my opinions for the sake of discussion. I don’t quite understand how someone posting excerpts from my blog, and having people click on the link is “at the expense” of Free Republic. Last time I checked, that was the reason Free Republic was created.

Fail. Incorrect. Untrue. Horsehockey. Fantasy.

First of all, I didn’t post it.

Why not? And it's not posted, it's excerpted. Just so you know.

For the record, I don’t make any money off of it

Understandable. But why have it excerpted?

the only reason I write is to express my opinions for the sake of discussion

Wouldn't that be better done by showing the larger audience here your writing?

I don’t quite understand how someone posting excerpts from my blog

WHY are they doing that? Did you ask them to? Why don't you pimp your own blog? Does it suck so badly that you wish to distance yourself from it?

I don't think that is true if you are credited as the author and FR doesn't buy the rights from you.
