Palin Derangement Syndrome for Dummies

You know, it’s curious that the more journalists and wise political pundits tell us how irrelevant Governor Sarah Palin is, the more attention she receives from these same bottom feeders in the form of shoddy and lazy drive-by hit pieces in the press and on television. The reason so many of these journalistic pursuits ring hollow in the face of, oh I don’t know, facts, is because the author/speaker isn’t adequately afflicted with Palin Derangement Syndrome, or PDS. As a public service, and believe me, this is a public service, as I’m expending time and energy for which I could be billing seeing as how it’s tax season and all, if you’re going to be an effective Palin critic, you need to do it right. So I offer a few helpful hints so that you, too, can become a famous journalist or an allegedly conservative pundit by properly trashing the irrelevant faded celebrity that is Sarah Palin.

1. Watch Sarah Palin’s Alaska and see if you can spot all the special effects trickery, because there’s no way she could ever actually shoot a caribou, drive a 4 wheeler, hit a charging bear target or clay pigeons, bake a birthday cake, fish for salmon and halibut, club, gut and de-slime (is that a word?) halibut, cut down a tree, mountain climb, go for a run, workout at 4:00 AM, go rafting, kayaking, gold mining, wait tables in a restaurant, clean a fishing boat, drive a dog sled and write a book. You’ll wear out the pause and slo mo on your DVD player, but it’ll be worth it to prove the fraud clearly so rampant in this series.

2. Express alarm and concern about Governor Palin’s weight and how gaunt and unhealthy she looks......

Well, if she runs in 2016, I will evaluate her against any other conservatives in the race, and decide accordingly.

For example, if she had been in the 2012 initial field of candidates, I would have ranked her third on my preference list, behind Gingrich and Perry, and well ahead of the rest.

I think it is important for Palin to make it clear she is once again a prospect. Early.

Or not. Early.

Either way, I'm sure she'll have a major impact, but it would be irresponsible to "tease" a possible run and then not follow through, as she did in 2011 (for the 2012 primaries).

Well yes, that too.

I strongly hope she runs. But if she does not, I hope she removes herself from consideration EARLY.

That said. 2016 seems a very good year for Palin.
