“The Whites there had no choice, except to move, Bob. “

I LOVE that technique, I even have it on my home page. In any case, I remember those days well, and the whites were FAR from defeated there. It was more like they were worn down and tired of doing what was needed to keep order in their country. Not much different than when the Israeli’s elect a Labor leader that wants to cut deals with a Palestinian mob that wants every one of them dead.

As to your question, you fight back. Europe will have to make that decision soon, and I expect there to be a bloodbath, with the native Europeans winning out. But they brought it on themselves, but allowing a determined foe to gain a foothold, and then build up strength.

“Get the hell out of that hell hole of a nation! They are outnumbered and out voted.”

Easier said than done. I know of two people who have paid a high fee to apply for a travel visa, only to be denied. These people are trapped.

That is a bit like saying that Jim Crow laws needed to stay in the South because it was the only way to “keep the n***ers in line”. Just to clarify, is that what you are saying?

Kind of like saying that what happened in Rwanda was JUST FINE, as long as the colors are right. Just to clarify, is that what you are saying?

What I am asking is that do you think that laws that keep one race of citizens down in favour of another are justified? It seems that way, I’m just trying to clarify if that is what you intended to say when you made that comment about the whites ‘bringing it upon themselves’ by ditching apartheid.

Actually, dividing the country by tribal lines was the plan under apartheid, with cross-border industrial development to sustain the different tribal homelands. It failed because the British colonial government refused to give up the mineral rich areas, stifling development away from the mining hubs, and after 1963, when British colonialism ended, there was little desire to pursue new borders or large-scale development as the industrial hubs were pretty much established. Some homelands did become relatively successfully self-governed, but since the industrial development never happened as planned, it was not sustainable from an economic perspective.

Under the format that apartheid ended up as, I agree, it had to go, but the current solution is not any better for the majority of South Africans. The new ruling class likes it a lot though.

I would have loved to see South Africa take a free market approach and establish the only free-trade zone on the continent, with self governance to each of the major tribes and population groups in an own country. Wishful thinking given the ideological history of all involved.

I guess that leaves us at a standoff. You line up with Clinton, the Dems, and some Republicans (RINOs) in looking at everything through race, while I try to apply the same standards to all people - so if we’re not ready to do anything about Rwanda and hundreds (if not thousands) of other cases of oppression, just because they are similar in color - then we’re a basing things on race, more than anything else.

Oh well.

I think it is a bit rich to be saying that I view things through the prism of race when you are the one who seems to be suggesting that dismantling apartheid, a system that was based on one race being superior to another, was a mistake and that the white community brought their current plight on themselves as a result. I mean, seriously?

So you have no regrets at siding with the people that are now TERRORIZING the farmers in that country. That’s fine, we had to deal with you guys during the Cold War - we’ll deal with you guys again, as we try to make some progress on conservative causes.

I prefer to make a distinction between individuals, and the particular demographic group that they belong to when assigning guilt for the crimes that they have committed. Apparently, you don’t, because you are a racist. I think that just about covers it...

South Africa was practically forced into this position. They should have stood their ground but didn’t and now are in a really bad place. World pressure from governments, the MSM and Hollywood precipitated this. The good ole US of A played a big part. Of course now all who advocated for this are no where to be found and ignore their handiwork.

The US is next if whites do not stand up for themselves.

“Apparently, you don’t, because you are a racist. I think that just about covers it...”

I guess you’re out of things to say, so it’s time for the name calling.

But just remember, I am the person that supported the government that gave blacks the HIGHEST STANDARD OF LIVING seen on that continent, while you seem perfectly fine if they butcher each other and live in squalor, as long as the colors are right. Some people can sleep at night with blood on their hands, but I’m not one of them.

So you can look up the political death rates in South Africa both during and then after Apartheid and find out what was worse for blacks there - but I know, you have no problems with blacks killing blacks, it’s only when the colors line up in a certain way that you’re bothered. Forgive me if I don’t have much respect for that position, but it sounds a whole like like Democrat leaders and judges. I’ve known people (blacks) victimized by people of your attitude, so forgive me if I take it personal.

Anyway, try to enjoy your life (but it won’t be easy).

Not that it makes much difference to people on your side (after all, I have yet to hear an leftist complain about the Cambodian genocide), but there was a nice article today about what South Africa has become.

No doubt you’re proud of yourself.
