Now John McCain goes to the floor and slams Rand Paul’s filibuster as ‘not helpful’, ‘ridiculous’
The Right Scoop ^ | 3/7/13 | The Right Scoop

Posted on 03/07/2013 9:25:50 AM PST by Nachum

Why don’t John McCain and Lindsey Graham just get a room or something. As soon as I heard that Lindsey Graham didn’t like filibuster, I knew that McCain would be soon to follow with the same garbage.

Just like clockwork:

This from another thread and is spot on:

"Rand Paul redeemed the GOP yesterday with his filibuster and these two go out with 0bama and overindulge in a bit too much Kool Aid? These two can go to hell."

I wish Lady G. and McCain would just shut up.

Just STFU.

Well, he confirms that he is who I have believed he is for decades. I remember the Keating five. I guarentee you those two treasonist Bastards are up to no good with Nero. I'll wager it is Amnesty. Graham thinks it will be his legacy. Unfortunately it will end our Republic.

The GOP Establishment Elite need to sit down and STFU!

REPUBLICAN INSIDER: “Out With The Old – And In With The New”

Thing is, and this is what gets me so excited about the future of the party, is that this new crop of conservative Republicans doesn’t give a damn about getting along with the leadership. And this attitude is now becoming a fixture within the Senate. Historically you’ve always had some outlier members of the House, the two-year election cycle allows some interesting characters to get in there, but the Senate is normally a much more moderate institution not prone to the quick political changes that can transform the House.

What are these two clowns smoking???

It is the best thing I have seen happen in DC for quite a while. Cruz made Holder look like a buffoon on the issue. Put McCain and Graham in the witness chair and let Cruz question THEM!!!

Whoa, I would pay "cash money" to see that, RatRipper!

I agree... Sen. Paul's filibuster was the best thing I've seen in DC for years. And Sen. Ted Cruz was fabulous.

Sen. Rand Paul on Rush Limbaugh's show NOW... interview just started!

Hearing McNasty and his little buddy Grahamnesty rush to the microphone to squeal like pigs in their protest over Rand Paul’s filibuster is the ultimate proof that something of great significance happened last night.

It will take more time for it all to shake out and see what farther-reaching impact it may have. For 12 hours millions of Americans of many political persuasions and none were glued to C-SPAN watching some very bright lights explain and defend the Constitution of the United States of America. It was mangificent.

This may be the way to bypass the media, the ridiculous talking heads, and the shameful likes of McCain, Graham, Boehner, Rove and the rest of their ilk.

Ted Cruz, Rand Paul and Marco Rubio were all brilliant last night. The country needs to see more of this, unfiltered and unchained.

Dear Senator mcCain, thank you for your service to your country and service in our political system. Could you now PLEASE retire and spend time with your grandkids?

Fact is if it weren't for his Daddy, given his ability to bounce aircraft off anything in the area, he'd been either kicked out of the Navy or a just another deck ape. Instead in the long run we end up with a very large turd in the punch bowl.

The moderate GOP attention-whore does his job.
“Look at me, MSM! Interview me! Ask me stuff! I’ll give you whatever sound-bite you need! Ask me to come on your show! Love me! I’m the ‘reasonable’ Republican!”

John McCain doesn’t give a f**k about anyone but John McCain. Never has, never will. He’s worse than useless. He’s actually useful to the other side!

I’m a Zonie. What I can tell you is that AZ id now home to many Cali rejects and of course the illegals who vote.

The last election, I and many others did not vote for MCCain. But we are now outnumbered. And the constant push/peer pressure by many to elect a ‘winner’ no matter what got us another 6 of this traitor.

Yet people say this id better than a third party that might lose?

HOW??? These POSs vote democrat anyway. Romney had a record showing he would have been McCain on steroids. Yer ...conservatives (barf) are still having fits because some of us refused to be cheerleaders to our own destruction.

McCain plays the role of gatekeeper. Denigrates those who sound alarms about our security or ME policy

He did the same with Michele Bachmann and concerns about infiltration of Muslim brotherhood. She has since remained quiet.

next phase usually is his MSM media circuit to minimize/ridicule

McCain has been doing that for years. The good people of Arizona must approve because they continue sending him to the Senate.

McCain had money and the media on his side. JD was slimed by both the media and those that owed favors to McCain.

The survivor of the “Keating Five” scandal has long since outlived any usefulness he might have had.,/i>

He only survived because the democrats knew that little Bitch could be bought and stay bought. McCain made a deal with the devil and he continues to uphold his side of it. John McCain will go down in history as a loser. In every aspect of his life. LOSER! Couldn't fly a Jet, couldn't pass up James Keating's offer, couldn't win the Presidency and Couldn't be counted on as a US Senator to uphold the Constitution. Again, LOSER!

McCain has been a senator since 1987. Long term incumbents tend to corrupt their constituencies (prime example: Robert Byrd, D-WV).

McLame and Graham's dinner last night will pass through their stomachs where it will eventually end up as waste in the loo. Which is what Obama’s giving to America.

Paul, Cruz and Lee will pass their fight last night on to inspire and encourage others to have the determination to stand for our Constitutional principles.

Now who's ‘ridiculous’ McCain?

What Rand Paul ought to do is put out a press release stating this.

I appreciate Senator McCain and Grahams opinion on this matter, however I staunchly disagree.

We are in this mess because of the the type of behavior you saw played out last night. While Several Republican Senators and I filibustered to adress a basic Human Right and a Constitutional one, Senator McCain and Graham decided to dine with the ONE person in America that thinks he has the right to use Drones to Kill American Citizens on US Soil.

There are those of us that were Sent to Washington to Clean up the Mess created thru dinner meetings, back office sell outs and kickbacks. Then there are those that are afraid their turf is being challanged. They prefer to cower and capitulate versus Challange and Defend what is good and Great about this country.

Obviously had Senator McCain’s opinions and positions been a popular one He would be the President instead of a Senator.

Then sit back and watch the EMTs haul the old goat away in a straight jacket.

Maybe the "giant wave" of crap from Lindsey and McCain was so big Paul (along with the rest of the US) finally drowned in it.

Our Nation is crumbling @ our feet. Will the real adults please stand up! Build another Drone boys I guess the Sequester does not include tyranny on Americans from the Dictator!
Send in the Tanks ,Send in the tanks! I also do not understand the sudden oppression of Americans because of nutz with guns Has any law abiding Citizen in possession of firearms committed any mass shooting? Legal owners have not perpetrated any crime against any large group of people!
But it could happen in the near future, with all the oppression of citizens.

Zero didn’t buy them a fancy dinner. WE did.

According to the White House, Obama did pay for the meal out of his own pocket, not any government funds. Of course, given history, we can't necessarily believe this, but no evidence has as yet been offered to the contrary.

The argument that because we pay his salary that everything he spends is really us spending it doesn't fly. Once we pay his salary, it's his to do with as he pleases, just as anyone else is. I don't hold an employer accountable for the personal spending decision of his employees.

You caught me as I was too lazy to look it up.

The reason why McCain and Grahamnesty are so upset is they are the neo-con crowd like the 2003 GOP era, They disagree with Paul on this issue.

If the gubment thinks you are a terrorist then they say you are expendable with all your rights.
“Keeping you safe” Better to blow up a few innocent Americans then have the terrorists kill thousands. Plus you cant sue if you are dead.

They are hot on amnesty because it can be used to get low capability Army recruits, traded for a fast path.
