These things are good in a city / urban environment where if the shxt hits the fan is the last place I’d ever be anyway and they are good on a well kept hard packed smooth surface.

At 19 - 23 tons, small dirt roads with ruts, small wooden bridges or any muddy dirt road and they’re useless. Basically anywhere your standard 4-wheel drive can go these can’t.. which is where I’ll be.

These were designed, as I understand it, to ward off mines and IEDs put together by third world irregulars. Do Mr. Obama and his minions not understand that the force arrayed against them in a hypothetical revolution/rebellion/civil war/insurgency within our borders will have a technological base at least 5-10 times better than any country we've ever fought in? And that a goodly portion of the military will take their Bradley IFVs, M-2 .50 cal. MGs, F-16s, Abrahms MBTs, Cobra helicopters, TOWs and artillery with them when they leave?

my son drove one of these in Afghanistan and they get stuck in the mud real easy. and it takes aniother two of them to pull it out.

they also arent that great for “mine” protection.
