Haven’t seen a rabbit foot in ages except on a live rabbit.
And that one was wiggling his ears at me as he hopped in circles around my feet.
The show off.
He’s lucky he’s cute and I am more concerned with the coyote.

I think the dang coyote got my rabbit. I don't see any rabbit tracks in the dusting of snow we got night before last. The coyotes have been yipping around out in my yard several times in the last week. I go out with a pistol (just in case), a flashlight and a walking staff and harass them when they do. It's basically a game but I don't want them to get too comfortable around here.

The rabbit lived in my woodpile and wasn't the least bit afraid of me. Ah, well, seems to be the cycle every year. Two or three baby rabbits in the spring and scarcely one to be found by mid-winter. I think hawks are usually the beneficiaries of the new rabbit crop though.
