I think Christie has a motive for doing this. He has dreams of running for president in the next election & if Romney wins this one - he would likely be re-elected for a second term.

Yep, campaign adds against Christie were made today showing him bragging on BO and being so buddy, buddy with him. Will come back to bite him.
