Great video. It appears that Obama's best friend and roommate, Sohale Siddiqi was more than a friend. Perhaps this explains the wedding ring he wore for years before he married Michelle.

In the video there are some closeups of their hands entwined, so that might suggest that it’s real.

I pulled the photo down years ago and just checked it in my file...the photo I downloaded is exactly the same.

Siddiqi lives in Seattle and works for a small theater group. It would take very little effort to determine his current lifestyle.

To the best of my knowledge, it is a genuine photo, and yes, they are holding hands. The photo first appeared in the NY Times on January 20, 2009.
