Far more powerful people than Obama have tried to throw Jews under the bus (Haman, the Inquisition, Hitler, Stalin) and the Jews come out stronger than ever. I’m not worried about Israel- I’m more terrified of a just and righteous God who judges those who curse Israel.

Exactly. I don’t want to be melodramatic, but the pieces prophesied to be on the scene in the Biblically foretold Battle of Armageddon seem inexorably to be falling into place.... and that would put the US among the armies of the world who will march against Israel and to appear to be on the verge of wiping her from the face of the earth, only to be destroyed by the wrath of the returning Christ, whom Israel will — finally — recognize as her Messiah. Zech, Chs 12-14 is a helpful portion to read, although there are other passages that also throw light on this battle, as well.
That said, I cannot set dates, and the end could still somehow be centuries off, but..... It just seems to be getting ominously close.
Notice: There is no pushback from the Romney campaign on Obama’s turn against Israel — at least none of which I am aware.
The New World is not mentioned in scripture. It is supposition to state as fact the place of the U.S. in the last days.
Bible scholars, prophetic and otherwise, are being intellectually dishonest to say they know the place of the U.S. (as a nation) in scripture. We are simply not mentioned in the bible. We can surmise, extrapolate and associate our nation with other cities, nations and empires like: Babylon, Britain and the Roman Empire but the fact remains - the New World is not mentioned in scripture.
