I think your reading of other sites shows what's been said about Conservatives- we know Liberal philosophy better than Liberals know Conservative philosophy....or their own philosophy for that matter. Because we're regularily bombarded with their propaganda and agitprop, we have to fine-tune our arguments and make them sharper.
On the other hand, Leftists seldom get beyond "You're hateful", "Mean-sthpiwited", "Hypocrite" (for what?), "homophobe", etc.
