Maybe they should be asked if they believe in God? What are we supposed to do? Sit around, and wait for the opportunity to shoot people as "preppers." Maybe prayers to Jesus Christ would be superior to this lunacy that we can "survive" the coming evil. We can endure it, we won't survive it.
Read the Bible.

"Read the Bible."
I do and this is some of what I have read:
A prudent man sees danger and takes refuge, but the simple keep going and suffer for it. NIV Proverbs 22:3
In the house of the wise are stores of choice food and oil, but a foolish man devours all he has. Proverbs 21:20
But if any provide not for his own, and especially for those of his own house, he has denied the faith, and is worse than an unbeliever. 1 Timothy 5:8
History has shown us all too well that men do not need Gods help to muck things up to a point were their fellows cry out for God to end it all and relieve them of their misery.
God didn't build the Ark he told Noah to. God didn't provide food during the great famine he warned Joseph to store food for it. God truly expects us to do our part, he helps those who help themselves.
