I’ll probably be zotted for this, but I am a supporter of gay marriage. I honestly dont care. That said, I support chik-fil-a. I’m going to go there on Wednesday and get lunch.
This is the very essence of, “I may not agree with what you say, but I will fight for your right to say it.
I don’t like the idea of a litmus test, administered by the state or local government, to be allowed a livelihood. This idea should chill everyone to the bone. It begs to question what other issues they might decide on in the future. If you don’t support higher taxes on yourself, or if you are not a fan of Isreal (or Palestine, whatever), you won’t be allowed to start a carpet cleaning business.
You sound like you think you are compromising your beliefs by going there on Wed.
Dan Cathy, Pres. of CFA, has gays working at his stores...and he doesn’t have a problem with yours or anyone else’s views being different than his.
He is merely saying that as a Christian, HE personally believes in the traditional definition of marriage.
Leave it to the uber lib gay community to distort the message and make it into a shout out for their illicit lifestyle..(so now you know where I stand..point being that the First Amendment is alive and well).

That's one of the reasons why I oppose gay marriage, and would oppose it even if I were "gay," or pro-"gay" in general. Gay "marriage" is a mechanism to force the compliance of unwilling business and unwilling individuals. That is, it is used as a tool
