If Zero had a joint sticking out of his mouth that would easily by ‘shopped; or had a huge afro, that would be okay for the time. Hmm, Zero with a bandaged head?

Or Mrs Ayers bought her Billy a jacket and while she was in the shop, she thought, might as well get that nice young fellow my husband got into that Banks Street school where Billy is, because he’s on the board...a jacket too? Maybe he was wearing it when he met Mr Hulton, the postman outside the Ayers home where he went to thank them for contributing towards his education?
