thanks, not much new there I hadn't seen before, the idea that two docs were raised in two hospitals in Mombasa is a little over the top methinks. Pity the time on that yellow document doesn't say am or pm...11.37 against 7.24pm...might have been the same allowing for the time difference, born in two different places at the same time perhaps?

Perhaps whoever created the HI fake, telephoned Mombasa and said, go and register that birth now, and forgot to tell them what time to put on the application? Seriously, if you knew the condition of the roads in Kenya, or how long it would take on an overcrowded train to get from the nearest station to the village to Mombasa, there's no way you would believe anyone would be visiting friends for a festival. In 1962, I doubt if anyone in the village even had shoes...
