Funny, but I just so a list of 10 worst states to retire - based on crime rate, life expectancy, % of population under poverty level and average income. The 10 worst (in no particular order):
NC
SC
GA
FL
AL
MS
LA
TN
TX
AR

If these are so bad, why are all the damn Yankees moving there?

Because there are demographic pockets where those problems don’t exist in most states. Painting a large city one way or the other is too broad a brush. Painting a whole state is ridiculous.

They are all very bad, especially TX, so all the Yankees and Californians should leave as soon as possible!

Crime happens everywhere, not just in these States “deemed” the worst (I’d like to know how they figure that).

People in Alabama tho, we’re fighting back, we’ve had a belly full, and to answer your question of why the Yankees are coming NTHockey...they coming to “educate” us poor dumb Southerners...din’t ya know that? /sarcasm.
