Wow, a trip down memory lane.

I started with an ‘82 IBM PS2/50 (microchannel), w/ 2 40k floppy HD-drives (still have it in the basement), DOS2, and accessed CompuServe BBS w/ 9600 baud modem.

I built an IMSAI S-100 bus that ran CP/M. Remember the pip command?

Started with paper tape, and upgraded to mag tape and then the 8" floppies. Also upgraded to a Z80 card. With an extra 4K of memory. That cost real money.

We have it good today with cheap and fast computers.

And I am grateful.
