Nothing has been the same since then - good news that segregation was dismantled and bad news that the dems just rebuilt a system of hate doctrines and discrimination with a new tanner, Klan and a lighter shade of victim to debase and harm. :(

What emptied the cities was forced busing, sending white kids to black schools and black kids to white schools...Put your first grader on a bus for a hour drive across town to a black school and the same with black students...Middle class black and white parents deserted the cities as soon as they could and left the leaches in the cites..Many black parents were insulted that the government thought their kids could only learn if they sat next to a white kid...One of the councilmen on Detroit city counsel came out and said as much...I will always remember his name as it was so distinct....Councilman Golightly... There were no more professional blacks in the community as role models, just the thugs....they owned their own stores, had their own middle class and upper middle class, but the government knew best. It happened in many large cities in the Detroit area, Pontiac, Flint etc...now these citys have been run by blacks for decades and the liberals run them all....gee isn't it great...
