I assume this was said as a joke. One of the most fervent anti-communists of the last century was Adolf Hitler, so it is obviously not the sole standard for selecting a good candidate.
As I did, go to the NRA site and watch Glenn's speech of a few weeks ago for yourself. It's a very good, conservative, pro-gun speech. And no, I don't think his bit on Romney was a joke. Watch it for yourself, and get back to me please. I am always open to being corrected.
