You can’t charge batteries more than 100% of their capacity.

When they are overcharged, they start gassing and may lead to an explosion.

It also shortens the life of the battery even if it doesn’t lead to an explosion.

Where is the EPA on this? Is this a natural habitat for these gases? Is this type gas protected under the endangered species act? Shut everything down until an investigation is done. Stop the assembly line. It might be a rare type of swamp gas. What else can you do but laugh at it? It will be covered over with no interest in getting to the bottom or it.
