A Message from Gina From the Rush Net
American Clarion ^ | March 23, 2012 | Gina Miller

Posted on 03/23/2012 12:14:04 PM PDT by WXRGina

Dear Faithful Listeners,

I believe I have been caught in the “Rush Net” in the fallout from the Democrat operatives targeting his advertisers, station owners and big broadcasters. Many people in the higher levels of business have a tough time standing against even a phony “outrage” campaign by the Left–which is what this is.

The Left is hell-bent on silencing us, and they will not stop until none of us can publicly tell the truth about their evil agenda. Of course, not everyone tells the truth about them like I do, and my “style” does not sit well with those on the Left, wherever they may be.

My company has chosen to cancel my radio blog immediately, but I intend to continue writing my columns. I will have to decide on a schedule, whether I want to do one or two a week and on what days.

I want to thank you all for being such a wonderful audience. Over the past two years that I have been doing these radio blogs, I have heard from many of you. Your support and your prayers have been priceless to me.

You can keep up with my future columns by visiting the American Clarion link on the left. Or, if you would like to be added to my email blast list, just click the link to email me there on the left, too, and let me know. I will add you to my email list for when new columns are published.

Thank you, again, for having always listened! May the Lord bless and keep you.

~Gina

I happened to pick her show up (several hundred miles away from the station) at the time I drive home from work a few weeks ago and enjoyed it. Better than listening to Hannity, even with the weak reception.

She'll be back.

Why do you automatically put yourself in the boat with Limbaugh as a result of this?

Maybe nobody likes your blog, or you pimp it with excerpts or some such.

There are many reasons for anti-blog sentiment. Your picking a high-profile one only points up the arrogance of bloggers.

No, Humblegunner, I don’t pimp or excerpt. This is not about posting on FR. This is about corporate radio caving in to bogus pressure from the Left. This is happening all over the country with the Democrat operatives from Media Matters targeting advertisers, radio owners/operators and big broadcasters.

This is not about anything but bringing attention to the campaign to silence conservative talkers which is very real.

Yes, up here in Keene New Hampshire, both Rush and Howie Carr have been dropped by WKBK.

I don’t listen to WKBK anymore, so I’m hoping their ratings are dropping like a rock.

The local newspaper is the Keene Sentinel (aka the Kiev Slantinel), a communist rag staffed with flaming commies, pinkos, and perverts.

sorry, never heard of you.

And you wouldn't unless you were in the listening area and tuned in for the past two years or found the columns on the websites that carry them.

As I told Humblegunner, this is simply one more example of the Left's vicious campaign to silence conservative talkers.

Really? Explain this:

my columns are still carried on AmericanClarion.com, ScottFactor.com and RenewAmerica.com

I'm sorry you have lost a revenue stream, but blogging ought not to be an occupation.
The arrogance required to assume that others are so damned stupid as to need you to educate them is staggering.

The arrogance required to assume that your words are worthy of pay as opposed to anyone else's is appalling.

Any bum can use a library computer to write a blog.

I'm sorry your blog got axed.. but hey, you can start a dozen for free.

Gives a bit of perspective on the value of blogs, what?

You quoted my reply to Vision who suggested I try WND and the Times.

As for anyone giving a rip about anything a little blogger has to say, you can go ahead and tell that to the Tea Partiers and my other listeners who are already waging a counter-campaign. Oh, they care quite a bit and are “stunned,” as they put it.

It is not for you that I write. No biggie there.

She's quite well spoken, I'd say. Concerning a recent update to the Executive Order that allows the executive branch extraordinary authority, she says:

That would be all well and good, if we were dealing with a run-of-the-mill Democrat or Republican in the White House, but we’re not. Here is the distinction: Barack Obama is the most lawless president in American history. There have been bad presidents, and most of them have acted extra-constitutionally when you consider the strict limits on the executive branch, and the federal government as a whole, and how most presidents have overreached those limits. But, we have never seen such blatant disregard for the limits on the authority of the executive branch as we have seen under this mystery man, Obama. We have never seen a president spit on the authority of the co-equal branches of the federal government as we have seen under Obama. We have never seen such disdain for the United States Constitution and the rights and freedoms of the American people as we have seen under Obama.

That is what makes this latest executive order incarnation more alarming to many Americans. Today we have situations we did not have under Presidents Clinton and Bush. One difference is that there was no violent, moronic Occupy movement during their terms. The Occupy movement represents Obama’s army of useful, street idiots. It is precisely those kinds of people rioting in the streets that can easily be imagined to “cause” a situation in which the federal government under Obama decides to take a martial law-type action against the American people.

(Thanks for your perspective, Gina).

Humblegunner, you appear to be a bit full of yourself. At least she is trying to do something helpful.

Yep, get all mad. Stamp your foot. Write a blog.

Address none of the points, just get emotional. Yep.

I assume you agree that people are dumb as rocks and need to be educated by an esteemed blogger such as yourself.

What would be your qualifications again?

One must assume that to take on the mantle of educating the
dumb-ass masses one must needs have some high-powered qualifications.

WKBK’s website lists they still carry Rush and Howie and their facebook has some comments from listeners (under “everyone/most recent”) from people expressing opinions about Rush. To the best of my knowledge neither show has been
dropped (I’m in Beverly MA so can’t pick it up and I saw
no Listen Live link); unless both got dropped recently and
the webpage hasn’t been updated.
As far as I known only stations in Pittsfield MA and
Hilo HI have dropped Rush. If WKBK has dropped Rush
and Howie, maybe it hasn’t hit the news yet.

I think for a time WKBK dropped Howie in favor of Jerry
Doyle but picked Howie up again.

Yeah, I think Humblegunner must be anti-blog... I just checked yours out, it’s very well done! I’ll check it out in the future too.

Off topic, I used to be stationed in Gulfport (you’re blog said MS gulf coast). How much have things changed after Katrina? Other Seabees have told me that CBC has actually been built up quite a bit since I left and that Mississippi is as fun as ever.

btw those on the WKBK facebook who demand the show be taken off are prob. people either from the area, or elsewhere, who have been mobilized to pressure stations to drop him and don’t even listen to the show. They may have heard one short clip but that’s it.

You would not recognize the MS Coast now. About 90 percent of the homes and businesses on the beach and many from about 2 to 3 blocks off the beach were completely destroyed—washed away—or heavily damaged. There has been some rebuilding, but not much along the beach. It’s amazing, but everyone still thinks it was New Orleans that took the direct hit, but it was actually the MS Gulf Coast.

I’ve not been on the CB base, but I’m sure they’ve been hard at work making it all better, like your buddies said.

Thank you, Malcolm!
