A pay site but enough info given for free to get the current economic picture. If you click around on the site, you can find how Shadowstats arrives at the different numbers used in its charting.

I’ve actually had consternation over that...

I’m putting the coup on 4x4’s on concrete squares. And including a wood floor. I haven’t decided what to do about the bottom of the fence, yet. I might use rocks. We have a lot of the stuff they used to make “slave walls” out of around here. That might work...

This Muslim government has intentionally cashed a check that its infidel citizenry cannot cash. There is no other explanation than intention. We are in some deep, deep doo-doo....

You will no doubt get tested on whatever design you choose.

Building a enclosed (wooden box?) coop within the cage, up off the ground where the chickens can semi-fly up to during the day/night with a wood pole suspended up off the ground to perch on would be a plus.

Probably make a good thread if you posted asking for suggestions for building a chicken coop.

Don’t get me started. I had a panther ripping apart hogwire-enforced chickenwire before my neighbor killed it for me.

I’ve had a bad feeling the last few days, and I’m usually somewhat optimistic, but our director to me today pretty much confirmed a crash.

So let it crash, we’ll de-centralize so this can’t happen again.

You are going to have lots and lots of eggs!

I have 6 hens, two years now, their own coop ge grace to hang out in, and a run when not out and about cleaning the place up of bugs and other crawlies.

No coons, foxes, yotes, no rats, nothing.

If you live in the country, consider placing a gutted 5th wheel hidden by trees, plant fruit trees around it if you can.

Let the birds forage all day, then roost them in the RV at dusk. You can grow fruit-bearing vines all over the RV to help hide it.
Grapes, espaliered fruit trees, kiwi, bee-attracting wisteria, passionvine.

No need. There are instructions all over the internet. Plans and all. :-)

One of the reasons we got the chickens was to clean up the bugs. I’m going to be building a large “wire hood” on wheels that will cover a large area where chickens can “clean out and fertilize” the lawn, and we can roll it from place to place on our lawn.

And the eggs, of course. A lot of our neighbors have huge gardens but no chickens. We’re thinking some serious trading could be happening in six months or so. :)

They will eat the tomatoes, the strawberries and the peas!

But they do leave plenty for us as well.

I recall 2% mortgage rates in the fifties at one point. Right now we are being milked to bail the banks.
