Brokered Convention? It appears to me that the Conservative candidates are in this to win it.

The republican convention may be a fight between the RINOS and the Unicorns.. versus the Elephants..

Could be a big Discovery Channel Event..

If the powers that be insist on deliberately pushing a worthless moderate on us, we will do everything we can to deny that candidate a first ballot nomination.

And beyond the first ballot, all pledges to a specific candidate evaporate.

I like the idea of a brokered convention personally.

If we can keep the nomination from being wrapped up on the first ballot, the conservative voice, comprised of a coalition of conservative delegates, is enhanced (and conversely, the party establishment voice weakened) from that point forward.

I would think that the candidate who is eventually nominated would then be more conservative than would happen otherwise.
