That is what I said, you don’t like Newt, especially since Romney became your favorite in 2008 as the race got down to three.

LOL!! You're really reaching now... by your logic, I guess I'm a McCain supporter for life.. since, he was my "favorite" over Obama..

Ewww... I think I just threw up a little just typing that.

It was Rush’s transcript, not analysis.

The transcript is of Rush gutting Newt with what Rush knew was a lie, and man was he in our face and arrogant that day, while doing it.

I was pointing out that in a race of three, you liked the radically left wing Romney in 2008.

Today, you are going after Newt, when he is the only opposition to Romney.

I don’t think that your are passionate about Romney this time, but I do think that you are at the very least, indifferent to him beating Gingrich.

ok... right. Well, that is YOUR opinion. I don’t agree.

I don’t see that as Rush “gutting Newt”... I see it as Rush talking about the news of the day, and expressing SOME doubts about it.

But, all in all... that IS what Newt was saying in that speech. Maybe, it’s Newt you should be upset with??

Bed-time for me... carry on with your Rush-bashing.

Rush was forced to admit it was a pile of Bull the next day, a fact that he already knew, but he used it to kill Newt anyway.

You haven’t cleared up whether 1989 was when you became a Rush listener, you said it was, and then denied it later, claiming to have started before he went national, before he left Sacramento.

Rush was forced to admit it was a pile of Bull the next day, a fact that he already knew, but he used it to kill Newt anyway.

You are ASSUMING that Rush knew it was "Bull"... and, used it anyway. You can believe that if you want... I don't agree.

You haven’t cleared up whether 1989 was when you became a Rush listener, you said it was, and then denied it later, claiming to have started before he went national, before he left Sacramento

Cleared up? I didn't realize this was such a controversy.

Here are my "Rush Credentials":-)

I first started listening to Rush sometime in August of 1988 (not '89) in Houston.. on 700 KSEV radio.

The very first thing I heard when I tuned in was: Andy Williams singing 'Born Free'... the theme for Animal Rights updates. I thought it was hilarious, and was immediately hooked.

I've never stopped listening.

I was a charter subscriber for the newsletter, own first printings of both books, and have been a subscriber or Rush 24 since the first day it was offered.

When I lived in Louisiana, I used to join friends in a RUSH ROOM at a local BBQ spot. While we ate, the restaraunt owner played Rush loudly on the radio. Since I WORK during the day... I generally only get to hear the first hour. Sometimes, when news is particularly interesting, I'll catch the other hours later, on the internet.

I DO travel quite a bit... and, when I'm on the road, I ALWAYS listen to whole show in the evenings. Especially when I'm overseas...

I know Rush. I GET Rush... When people ask me if I "like Rush Limbaugh"... I tell them : "No, I AM Rush Limbaugh.. only better looking and without the money". :-)

I don't ALWAYS agree with Rush...but, it's a rare day when I don't. And, it's usually more of a tactical thing, rather than substance.

I think Rush likes Newt Gingrich.... quite a lot. But, he's still going to speak about whatever the "news of the day is"... whether it's good, or bad for Newt.

I expect to be flamed too, but I do find it surprising that Mark Levin has not taken this on, if only to explain in detail why Obama is eligible (if that's what he believes). To my knowledge, he has not. Maybe I missed it. But anytime I have heard it brought up on his show he just wants to change the subject, quickly.

These hosts know their listeners are not stupid. But again I don't remember much mention of this issue at all, apart from on Michael Savage's show.

If I am wrong I thank people for corrections in advance.

I've been listening to him, almost daily, since 1989.

You created the confusion about when you started listening to Rush. Rush knew that Speaker Newt was not anti-Reagan, all conservatives know that, and so should anyone else who lived during the 1980s and 1990s.

See post 100, when he mocked his audience, knowing that they were raving at his disgusting hit on Newt.

Hannity never shuts up about Rev Wright. I don't think a day goes by where he doesn't somehow work it into the conversation. And Levin and Rush both discuss the subject, giving credit to Hannity for his research.

When Levin has brought it up, he just says he's eligible, he's president, it's time to vote him out.

Birthers, and the birther arguments are not welcome on his show.

You created the confusion about when you started listening to Rush.

Well... I hope that's all cleared up. What I was saying was.... YOU couldn't have been listening longer unless YOU lived in Sacramento. I've been listening for as long as Rush has been heard, nationally. My bad for getting the year confused... I was in the middle of a plant startup then... working 320 hours a month for several months in a row. It's all kind of a blur.

See post 100, when he mocked his audience

I've see post 100 several times now... I HEARD Rush saying it when he did. I've even gone back and listened to again. I just don't see it as anything other than "Normal" Rush style..

Rush Limbaugh right now is making the case that it’s ok to lie about your opponent by bring in Jefferson and Adams.

Stating that we are whiner for complaining about it.

JUST COME OUT AND ENDORSE ROMNEY RUSTY.

COWARD !

See post 112, hours before voting starts in the primary that could stop Romney, and it is clear that Newt will not be getting any momentum from Rush.

What a bizarre, useless, irrelevant, first hour for the day before such a monumental conservative election, but it keeps him from helping Newt.

Stating that we are whiner for complaining about it.

Newt HAS BEEN whining about it... for the past two days. And, it's NOT HELPING him.

Rush is going Newt a favor by trying to re-direct him toward speaking PASSIONATELY about conservatism... not whining about lying politicians. it's not attractive

You guys are WAYYY to sensitive....

JUST COME OUT AND ENDORSE ROMNEY RUSTY.

Now Rush is linking Romney to the re-districting effort to write out Allen West.

Is that YOUR idea of a way to endorse Willard?

Some moron a few days ago was claiming that Rush, Sean, and Mark Levin were all supporting Romney because of Bain Capital owning a (minority) share of Clear Channel. Rush and Mark have been extremely hard on Romney. These people claiming a Bain/Clear Channel conspiracy are delusional.

Put up or shut up Conservative Talk Radio and TV hosts. Your hour of reckoning is at hand. We are listening and waiting, and we won't be waiting or listening much longer.

Either you are our voice or you have betrayed us.

Which is it?

You're forgetting the choice about you being delusional. That's what it is.

Yes, Rush cultist, Rush’s using Jefferson and Adams to justify Romney’s and the GOP-Es attacks on Gingrich is just Rush playing chess...lol.

Coming out and endorsing Myths and the E’s coordinated attacks IS and endorsement of Romney.

They’ve eliminated Palin and Cain and wow they are attempting to take out Newt for the second time.

Tools will be tools. Rush is a tool.
