None of my business AB about what happened to you, but I would appreciate any input: what would you have me tell my son and my other extended family when they want to protect and server? Who is the enemy and how can we win?
Thunder - stop and think if you were on the other side of those percentages. If you are willing to lock up everyone based on “laws” what happens when Thunder gets thrown in the hoosegow based on those laws? Thunder did no wrong. Thunder is a stand up guy. Thunder doesn’t deserve to spend 10-20. Thunder was just trying to help a buddy.

But I have to think even with that, someone intent on wrecking their brain with meth is no real danger to me - UNLESS they can’t get it, then they come looking for my stuff and i have to shoot them. Which puts me in court, defending my liberty. I would much rather just give them the dope and let them kill themselves and leave me alone.
That is true - if dope was free there are still assholes that would resort to stealing it. A good metaphor for fiat money too.
The question really is: what is the moral basis for protecting my stuff (and yours) from predation committed by dickweeds who do not follow our creed? In my opinion we do not have to justify our actions beyond first principles.
