Super PAC launches to back ‘comeback’ Gingrich campaign
The Daily Caller ^ | 11/09/2011 | Alexis Levinson

A super PAC supporting former House Speaker Newt Gingrich launched during the CNBC presidential debate Wednesday night, “to support Newt Gingrich’s comeback run for president.”

The super PAC, called Solutions 2012, was formed to support Gingrich’s campaign by providing the resources and manpower that the campaign currently lacks.

After most of his campaign staff quit this summer, Gingrich has been running a pared down campaign, both in terms of people and resources. His campaign brought in only $800,000 in the third quarter, and he had only $353,416 in the bank at the end of that quarter.

the establishment dems and rinos do not want a genuine conservative, much less a black conservative.

if they can’t have romney, they will push gingrich.

LOL - Yeah the Establishement just loves Newt. Sure.

Their second choice would be Cain. Followed by Ron Paul......

What a ridiculous statement. There are few Conservatives as hated by the establishment RINOs as Newt Gingrich.

The establishment sees where Romney is stuck in the polls. They’re looking for the non-tea party candidate.

wrong.

dick morris is right.

romney is stuck at 25% of the gop.

the other 75% can’t stand him.

the winner of the cain-newt race will take on romney,

and romney will lose.

the rino establishment would prefer newt to cain.

I'd say that was a fairly accurate assessment of the portion of the GOP country club'rs that actually have their eyes open (as opposed to those who are still dead set on a Romney nomination). So accurate, in fact, I'm surprised it came from Dick Morris. He must have heard it from someone else first :-)

Should the GOP actually nominate Newt Gingrich, I, a non big “R” Republican will be first in line in the General Election to cast my ballot “for” him. I have not had the joy of voting “for”, only “against” for many election cycles. Despite his personal foibles he is the only candidate with the gravitas to actually lead this republic at this time, IMO.

I’ve heard it said recently by the usual insider suspects (Schrum, Krauthammer I think, the guy from The Daily Caller) that Cain will never be the nominee - just isn’t going to happen. So they’re counting out the voters...how do you do that? Is it the GOP that’s after Cain - are they in cahoots with the rats?

This place makes me laugh. Last year no one would have gone within 100 yards of Newt, now he has cheerleaders here. Unbelievable.

I agree- they ALL have "baggage". I prefer to support the most intelligent and experienced choice, Newt Leroy Gingrich.

The election will be won on contrast. There is not one area that Obama will have the upper hand & more knowledge than Newt. Let’s face it, Newt will absolutely DESTROY Obama in the debates, especially in the debate style he is proposing. That’s when most people will be watching & paying attention. Game, set, match.

People keep saying Newt’s got too much baggage. In comparison to Obama, he pure as the driven snow & that’s all that really matters. Every single one of these guys has baggage. Who can win hands down? That’s all that matters at this point. Obama MUST go!

All that said, I’m still waiting, but Newt’s looking better all the time.

That’s not fair. Primaries are all about choosing a leader. As long as they have debates, anyone can rise up.

Yeah, all you have to do is get past his 3 wives, 2 of whom he cheated on, and is married to the last one he cheated with. She’ll make a great first lady. Good morals. Really appeals to the social conservatives, but that’s all right, allowances can be made for him (and her). Oh, and he’s an Enviroweenie much of the time, and he thinks Paul Ryan’s budget plan was lousy and said so in public. Oh, and he made that Ad with “Princess” Pelosi, both sitting on the couch being so, so agreeable. But what the heck. At least he’s not a Mormon.

” Newt’s looking better all the time.”

He certainly is.

At this point, I can’t see me not voting for him.
