Answer: MONEY & anti-Americanism:
1) Economics: Russia has oil cooperation, and like China, eyes the Arab market.
2) Power - politics, they constantly see the US as a "competition" of world leadership.
'CULTURE' WHO/WHAT?
Incidentally, the move today was about including "Palestine" in Unesco's cultural body. Not sure how "culture" and Arab "Palestine" are linked, yet. As this, group of mostly immigrants (or their children) who came up with a "Palestinian" identity only in the 1960s (1963), have not yet developed a culture. (Unless you count the jihadi death cult so deeply entrenched into this group.

Yes, but so is the current White House ... so maybe there is more to the story (or maybe its just election year games...)
It amazes me how even main stream conservative news, continues to suggest Obama is simply naive or inexperienced as the reason for his imposing destructive economic and foreign policies.
It’s pretty clear from reading his own damn books that he hates America and believes we need to be taken down a peg or two!
Why are they afraid to say so???
