Former Godfather’s Pizza CEO had some strong words for President Barack Obama Monday morning. Yahoo! News’ Chris Moody reported Monday morning that Cain called the commander-in-chief “a liar.” While allowing that it wasn’t necessarily the most politically correct statement he’s ever made, Cain has doubled down rather than walking it back.
Talking to Megyn Kelley Monday afternoon on the Fox News Channel’s “America Live,” Cain blasted Obama and contended that his statements about the wealthiest “paying their fair share” amounted to class warfare. Obama has claimed in recent days that it does not.
“With all due respect — political correctness is not one of my strong points — it is a lie,” Cain said. “And it is class warfare … Fifty percent of the American taxpayers pay 97 percent of the taxes. That’s not fair enough? When will it be fair? When 50 percent pay 100 percent?”
And Cain added that it was up to the media to hold Obama accountable, which he said they have failed to do.
“The mainstream media … give this president a pass on those kinds of statements,” he said. “I’m not going to give this president a pass just because he’s the president of the United States of America. The American people need to know the truth. This is what I’m talking about … It is class warfare, pure and simple, and the facts bear that out.”

I remember him calling barry a liar way back there. Perry also did as Governor. Perry has had a whole lot of choice words toward him ever since barry moved into the WH. But now we have 2 running who are calling him a liar. Yippee!!! I don’t believe anyone else in the race has done that.
Cain is calling a “spade a spade”, and that isn’t racist.
Please, Lord- let this man say what he truly believes, not only what we so badly want to hear. Don’t let him backtrack, reconsider or apologize, We don’t need another talking shirt, we need a strong leader,

I can’t see mealy-mouthed Romney calling the president a liar. That would just go to far.

Of course I don’t mind... I stole the idea from someone else’s bumper sticker post. I just enhanced it a bit.

So I just tagged him from mine. ;)
Have courage. Cain has even fighting the good fight for a long time. He called out Obama and Hillary in 2008 for the socialists they are. He called out Clinton in the 90s for “Hillarycare”. He even called out Bush on occasion. There are articles about Cain on FR going back to 2004.
He is doing this because he can not stand the direction the country is headed. He prayed about this decision for a year before committing.
He had already been promoting the conservative cause in commentaries, in his book, and talking about it on his show night after night for at least 8 years. Those of us who followed him from the beginning can confirm this, and there are a lot of us on FR.

It is so refreshing to hear the truth. Just the simple truth. No euphemisms (”the president misspoke...”), no tip-toeing around in fear of PC backlash. And it can be done with decorum and maturity. Good job, Mr. Cain.

Mr. Cain is a very wise, brave man. When he calls the president out on his lies, the race card is entirely ineffective. It’s gotta drive Barry nuts.
I really like Herman Cain, I hope he gets the republican nomination. I wouldn’t have to crinkle my nose to vote for this guy.
Herman Cain articulates (with a slight African-American “accent” that is NOT an affectation!, LOL!) what ALL of us have been thinking and saying for YEARS.
Conservative pundits have favorite line about Obama:
“He has never even run a lemonade stand, had to balance a budget, or met a payroll!”,”The Executive Branch of the Government needs an EXECUTIVE!”, “Why won’t anyone stand up to Obama?” “, “Why don’t Black People realize what a FRAUD Obama is?” etc.
Now we have a candidate that smashes through all those issues.
I really DO love Sarah, and pray for her all the time on FR. However, she has not announced, and now I really don’t believe she will, because Herman is saying all the things that she stands for as well. To split The TEA PARTY vote at this juncture would be catastrophic, IMHO. I think Sarah realizes that, and will be a far more exciting figure as a Tireless Spokeswoman for our movement. And I would LOVE to see her in an exalted Cabinet position in Herman’s Administration.

Well said. I would love to see Cain as President, who jump starts the economy and reduces gov’t. Then she could come in and fine tune things. I think VP is too muted a role for her, I’d like her to be Sec of State or something. Then she could run in 2016 or 2020. We could have 16 years of conservatism. The reality is, Cain won’t run in 2016 or 2020 because of his age (we see what that looks like - Ron Paul)

The hostile wing of the tabloid Main Stream Media has for decades held up their protective paper shield of “political correctness” to manipulate the population into believing that only THEY are capable of serious dialog.
Let us examine the term “political correctness” for a moment.
By definition, a politician is anyone whose word cannot be trusted. Two excellent examples are “We want no wider war.” ( LBJ ), and of course, “ Read my lips, no new taxes ! “ ( GHWB ).
“Correctness” is determined by the whims of the journalism professor that the journalist of the day studied under.
So, we have defined “political correctness” as follows: “words that cannot be trusted regulated by a pointy-headed-pseudo-intellectual-who-cannot-even-park-a-bicycle-straight.”

Cain says the right things BUT I can not vote for him because he has no experience in Government—he hasn’t run a city, a state, or served in Congress. I want someone who will not be learning on the job—we got one of those last time and look how things turned out.
