I don’t think the GOP would have a problem uniting behind Rick Perry, and probably a number of dark horses as well.

Sarah Palin would inflame the libs like nothing imaginable. When McCain announced that she had been selected, I knew libs that stopped everything to campaign against her. McCain bothered them. Palin terrified them.

Palin cleaned out the Alaskan Government. The RINOs are afraid she will do something similar in D.C.

No one will “unite the country”. We have 20% of the population that are hardline socialists. They won’t unite around anyone who isn’t a socialist.

I believe that Palin alone really wants to reverse years of creeping (and sometimes bounding) socialism. But the liberals who worship Obama will hate her every minute and for every socialistic law and regulation and EO she overturns. Even as the US once again turns toward prosperity, they will hate her and be convinced that she is destroying the US.

Unfortunately after she was forced out of the governorship (through no fault of hers), the RINOs began making inroads again.

Cose actually concedes that it’s an interesting argument.

Which rankles her side no end, that they; will have to compromise or go along with her agenda instead of McCain reaching across the isle, It is more like he, oh never mind...

She knows of her potential, this is a Freudian slip for which she will pay dearly for as her side extracts revenge for not being a true apparatchik , they do not exist for solutions but division.

Palin has the potential to "undo" 100 yrs of Progressivism and Statism and they know if she does, their politcal gig is up for their life times. Once we get that liberty back, I can't see it being lost in the next couple of generations. What they have done is at a tipping point and their lies do not work anymore....

After 9-11, liberals unified under George Bush for about 48 hours. I can still recall the House and Senate coming together to sing “God Bless America” with Nancy Pelosi and Tommy Daschle singing through clenched teeth like they absolutely despised what they were singing.

That lasted about 48 hours and then the liberals went back to blind, seething hatred against Bush.

So, if Sarah or any GOP president unites the country it will be because a nuke went off inside our borders or terrorists had another major kill. Be careful what you wish for.

The day that Sarah Palin announces her run for the Presidency, it will be the beginning of perhaps the most amazing run in political history, one that is more grass-roots oriented than by professional political organizations.

Americans now realize they need REAL change, a change that ensures equality of opportunity, not equality of outcome. Many old paradigms of government's place in American society may have to be swept away, and we have a chance to start enacting these changes with the 2012 election cycle.

In short, we're about to see the ultimate realization of "revolution by the ballot box."

“Palin is a different type of leader at a time when the country is looking for a different type of leader”

Stealing Obabma's chops from last election??

Oh - I guess he means a different different type - or something. Tripe.

It's gonna be awesome. then she can tax oil companies and other natural resource companies and I can get a big fat check. Sharing the wealth brothers and sisters. It's gonna be great.

Remember, when Palin was governor Alaska had no income tax or sales tax and she still balanced the budget.

She's half woman half amazing! I can't wait to see her welfare state/ windfall profit tax on oil companies translates to DC. But she can do it because she is all things pure.

Loved her daughters foot tattoo also. Can't wait for the latest reality show from the Palin's. They're like the Osmonds only better.

Palin on leadership:
Leaders are expected to give good speeches, but leadership is so much more than oratory. Real leadership requires deeds even more than words. It means taking on the problems no one else wants to tackle. It means providing vision and guidance, inspiring people to action, bringing everyone to the table, and with a servant's heart dedicating oneself to striking agreements that keep faith with our Constitution and with the ordinary citizens who entrusted you with power. It means bucking the status quo, fighting the corrupt powers that be, serving the common good, and leaving the country better than you found it. Most of us don’t see a lot of that real leadership in D.C., and it’s profoundly disappointing.

Palin, Bachmann, Cain and maybe Santorum could unite the conservative base and some in the tea party. You must understand the goofy Ron Paul faction thinks they own the tea parties. but, I don’t think either one will be liked by the Rino Elites. They want Romney, Huntsman and some want Perry. Infact, I don’t get why Rove would be opposed to Perry. Maybe Rove still think Romney is a winning ticket. Either way, I think only Paul Ryan could unite the Party as all factions like him or have defended him over the past 2 years. That doesn’t mean Paul Ryan is the best candidate, but the only one that I think could do it. Chris Christie will lack the social conservatives. Of course, Ron Paul fans don’t count. They will always be kooky.
