you respond with juvenile one-liners and supercilious assertations with commands

Kind of like when you wanted me to research my position for you?

I had once thought Rick Perry might be my fall-back candidate if Sarah Palin declined to run but at this point, I'm beginning to think not.

By God, we're all lost without you! Say us a prayer.

Look, just because someone writes something does not mean it is true.
Especially if someone sets out to write a Perry hit-piece.

I hope you are sophisticated enough not to fall for that.

If the only response to negative assertions about Perry's record from his supporters are arrogant brush-offs, devoid of facts but with lots of attitude, he won't survive the vetting.

I fear you overestimate my impact upon world events.

Hey, lot's of folks do. It's OK.

Kind of like when I simply asked you to explain why the article was wrong in it's facts and context, as you claimed.

By God, we're all lost without you! Say us a prayer.

There you go again. Elections are won (or lost) by one vote at a time. Mine is no more important than yours or anyone else but if Perry supporters cannot respond to negative claims about his actions as Texas governor with more than terse brush-offs that smack of immaturity and arrogance, it is a sign that those actions are not really defensible to conservatives.

Look, just because you dismiss BC's alleged 'hit-piece' as false but offer no rebuttal, even sneering at a request for clarification, doesn't mean the issues raised are inconsequential or the facts presented were inaccurate or 'out of context'. However, with no explanation, your rejection of the piece has little merit. Being asked to explain why BC was wrong isn't an attack on your honor (or Perrys', for that matter) but just an honest request for more information about a candidate most non-Texans (like me) know little about. Why does that pose such a challenge?

I fear you overestimate my impact upon world events.

What? I simply requested that you explain your dismissal of BC's claims against Rick Perry. In a series of posts, you basically told me to get lost. O.K. I will. There are lots of other threads to pursue on FR. This exchange is getting tiresome., for both of us, I'm sure. I suspect that you'll want a 'last word' so feel free. I won't respond. Life is too short.
