If she wasn’t going to run, then.....why release all her 24,000 email from her governorship days? Why show up in Iowa on the day straw poll is to be taken from Republican Presidential nominees? Why engage in a One Nation Bus Tour from town to town talking about a Constitutional America? None of these things nets her anything, no gains at all, UNLESS she’s going to run.
Sarah Palin knows full well she’s an outsider. The Establishment Republicans definitely don’t want her; a lot of the Republican Money Baggers don’t want her either. But it’s she and Bachmann who are the crowd drawers. Mitt Romney would be a disastrous nominee, and a Obama reelection would be assured if he got the nomination. And Rick Perry - as we will see in the weeks ahead - is going to pose a few problems of his own, regarding Conservatism. Sarah Palin is smart, and she knows what is stacked against her to win the nomination. I assume that same intelligence has shown her exactly how to fund her run. She’s going to need every single committed Conservative to back her unrelentingly if she’s to succeed. She’s the only one with the courage to stand up for pure Conservatism who also has held an Executive Government position, unlike Bachmann. Sarah is the best choice. I think she will run. And if she does, I’m in for her.
Perry would be more disastrous than Romney. Of the group that’s clearly not tea party.
Perry would have a lot of trouble getting any votes north of the ohio river, north of the mason dixon line.

It's called publicity. She doesn't have to run - she's made her millions. (I had to laugh at your naivete)

She didn't. The state of Alaska did as the result of a FOIA filing.
