Limbaugh says America is over go home put your pitchforks away and BOHICA: No thanks I’ll fight on

The United States of America is over! I just heard it from Rush Limbaugh! He knows everything so he can’t be wrong can he? I’m sure I missed the announcement that Limbaugh is moving out of America as he always implied he would; remember “I’ll tell you when it is time to panic.”

I can only conclude Rush is right. Isn’t he? I mean because Rush and a seemingly endless parade of conservative “thinkers” have said so, I must now put my pitchfork away because there is no use in trying. Rush told me so. He’s not wrong, right?

By Limbaugh’s thinking the few of us who want to fight should give up and stay home next year. That will give us 300 Democrats in Congress and 80 seats in the Senate so Franklin Delano Obama to finish us off. But giving up is all that Rush can say so that’s all we need to know.

I know I’m giving not up even though Rush said I should. YES we got kicked in the ash by this deal, but I really don’t give a damn what Limbaugh or anyone else says about what the future of my country will be. It will be up to me and other TEA partiers to save America and that is what we will do.

Rush might think we will accept “It can’t be fixed because it is in the budget from last year and the year before that and so on,” but he is very wrong, very wrong indeed!

Limbaugh can sit in a mud puddle sucking up dirty water, feeling sorry for himself and, but I’ll keep fighting. I have a family to protect and a nation to preserve so I don’t have the luxury of self-pity…..

The United States of America is over! I just heard it from Rush Limbaugh!

So many on this site seem to believe that Limbaugh is the sole repository of knowledge and wisdom. I stopped counting the number of factually incorrect statements he's made over the years. I've stopped counting the idiotic things he has said. Yes, the general thrust of what is saying is correct. But he's been wrong time and time again about specifics.

I'd really like to know just what kind of a better deal could be achieved given the fact that the Republicans control just one of the three elected branches of government? What better deal could the Republicans have generated given the composition of the Senate and with Obama in the White House? This is what drives me nuts about Limbaugh. Recently Limbaugh went on a rant about a speech Governor Mitch Daniels made at a CPAC meeting. I listened to the speech on YouTube- twice. Limbaugh could not have been more wrong about the nature of the speech if he had tried. He completely mischaracterized the nature of the speech. I don't know what he was trying to achieve other than to boost his own exaggerated ego.

I employ those of you who worship at the feet of this guy to start to think for yourselves and stop letting this guy think for you. The guy IS NOT an expert in anything IMHO.

He said he feels like we have been lied to along the whole process of this Debt bill. You can tell he is alarmed at the direction the debt, tax and spend is heading.

I might take the writer a little more seriously with his whiney `And Rush is always right!` line if he didn`t call himself `coach is right.`

LOLOL.

Is Rush the new pile-on target of the day?

Rush was fine today, IMO. He's worried about this country, as am I. I didn't hear, it's over.....Maybe I was listening to another Rush.

There’s giving up, and then there is standing back and watching it collapse until it’s time to pick up the pieces.

I don’t see how you stop the freight train right now, better to sidestep the implosion.

There is no reason to be too down about this, although I do believe when we find out what is in the monstrosity, we will find it gave the dems whatever they felt was most important to them, especially no real BBA consideration for years. It must have given them what they wanted, because it avoids the government shutdown, which I believe they would have triggered because they wanted to play politics with one like in ‘95 -’96 for all it is worth. After all, there is nothing else Obama could have been threatening when he told Boehner “not to call my bluff”.

It is true that the actions of the 112th congress cannot bind the action of future congresses, no matter how much affection these politicians have for 10-year plans.

So, I see the 2012 elections resuming their place as the top concern because it is now August, just 15 months ‘til we get another chance for TEA change.

” The most amazing thing about Limbaugh is that he is in a business that is 100% driven by sound, yet he is totally deaf. “ <<<<<

Your whole post, almost, was priceless. I happily agree with you, FRiend. BUT, Perry is more successfully conservative than a couple of bloopers make him out to be, and FAR more conservative than those running around with the moniker and little to none of the conservative accomplishment over ten years. NO ONE matches Perry in conservative accomplishment. He drags TEXAS around as Exhibit A, for the win.

Huh, how does only one side compromise? If the Democrats did not compromise too why is Jan Shankowski foaming at the mouth in opposition to this debt deal?

>>>I will wait on the transcript cause Rush IS always right. This dude missed something or has it in for Rush.

The author of the piece is smoking his shorts. And practicing selective comprehension... not to mention releasing intellectual flatus via a blog.

You really think spending cuts will happen? It will be just like always.

Republicans want to cut the democrats spending, they will stall, nothing will happen, then another election. That is the way it is.

No party will cut there own spending...which is the only way to get the opposite party to vote for spending cuts.

"Getting a little sick of people who think that you can change anything with one House election"

Rush has said plenty of times that it will take more than one election, so don't put false words in his mouth.

And El Rushbo’s solution, as so many of these talking heads, VOTE FOR MYTH for president...

Do you know what you are talking about or just bashing Rush in a Liberal like knee jerk reaction? He has been slamming Mittens and Huntsman for being big Gov't Progressive hacks every chance he gets. If there is any one unofficial endorsement that he gives without batting an eye is Palin. Defends her from the right and left at a moments notice.

Todays show was him being exhausted by all the BS that the GOP is trying to spin over this. Does anyone really think Rush is calling for us to give up on the country? Not likely. I see a Media Tweak here.

I agree. More RINOs and Democrats need to be sent to the unemployment line. The Tea Party doesn’t even have a majority in the GOP yet, much less the government.
