Keith Caputo, singer with soon-to-be-defunct metal outfit Life of Agony, has revealed he is to undergo gender reassignment surgery.
Caputo, who is currently in the midst of the band's farewell tour, took to Twitter to make the revelation. He tweeted, "M2F transsexuals like me are the women who give up male privilege for femininity! Threaten the patriarchy!"
The news will probably not come as a great surprise to fans, as the 37-year-old singer has been referring to himself as "her" when posting on his official website for some time.

Not trying to bash this guy or anything, but I am very slightly familiar with his work as he did guest vocals on one of Within Temptation’s songs. Quite arguably the worst song they ever did. Even great bands occasionally put out terrible songs.
I hope he comes to his senses before he permanently mutilates himself as the result of severe mental illness.

Actually there are “feminists” who don’t like “Transwomen” because they view them as a male attempt to co-opt femininity.
A few years back, IIRC, there was a ruckus among various leftist groups over a “womyn only” music festival that would only admit “womyn born womyn”.
