WASHINGTON (AP) - President Barack Obama bluntly told Republican congressional leaders Wednesday they must compromise quickly if the government is to avoid an unprecedented default, adding, "Don't call my bluff" by passing a short-term debt limit increase he has threatened to veto. The presidential warning, directed at House Majority Leader Eric Cantor, R-Va., marked an acrimonious end to a two-hour negotiating session at the White House that produced no evident progress toward a compromise.

While the GOP is weak under public pressure, the dims are 10 x weaker.
We need articulate spokes folks in the public square advocating the message. The CORE of that message is that Obama is L Y I N G about Social Security, Medicare, Military Salaries AND Default.
All of those obligations will be paid or Obama will be IMPEACHED.
And, the Republicans in the House ought to publicly make that promise to the American People.
Obama’s got nothing the only way any Republican loses their office is to give in.

Obama’s idea of “taking it to the people” seems to be threatening to withhold their Social Security checks, but NOT the foreign aid checks to Muslim countries. We’re in a mood to tell him to “bring it”.
Bluff call! Sure, he’s the one holding up granny’s SS check so go ahead, big boy, don’t send out the checks. I dare you! Maybe then the sheeple will wake up to what this administration is up to.
The little whiny baby needs to grow up. This stomping of feet and taking his ball may have gotten him what he wanted when he was two but it's nothing short of disgusting to watch an adult pull little temper tantrums.
Time for Cantor and Boehner to double down. Just work up the proposal they can live with and pass it through the House. Let The Senate Dems take the blame if they don’t pass it. I would not waste another moment negotiating with little Barry. Its a waste of time.
