America Hearts Bibi

The Leader of the Free World addressed both houses of congress yesterday, earning 28 standing O’s. Barack Obama, understandably, hid out in Europe.

Prime Minister Netanyahu’s speech was remarkable in its clarity. We’ve not heard that from the podium in some time. As Obama earned himself a derisive nickname from the British secret service, Bibi was winning hearts and minds in America.

Bibi rightly pointed out that the only place in the middle east in which Arabs enjoy the blessings of liberty is in Israel.

Israel isn’t what’s wrong with the middle east; it’s what’s right with the middle east.

Unlike an Obama “I” riddled snooze fest, Netanyahu’s speech was filled with lines that won’t soon be forgotten. Above all, he consistently reminded us of the depth of our bond, born out of our mutual love for individual liberty.

It’s just as well that Obama missed it–it was all over his head anyway.

I don’t having problems giving money to a democracy (Israel), but it sure burns me when we dole out cash to dictatorships and despots.

Recently whenever somebody like Netanyahu or Trump stand up to Barky and speaks plainly and truthfully, their ratings soar. It appears to me that we should be seeing more of that from the elected Republicans. I can’t believe the folks in DC cannot see this. Are the elected Republicans really this dense?

This money is called “FMS” for foreign military sales. None of it, regardless of who gets it, is a “gift.” They must spend it over here. FMS is another word for corporate welfare. (Full disclosure: I’ve worked in the military industrial complex for 33 years. I’m grateful to all the taxpayers who, upon occasion, have paid my salary as I whipped up weapons for foreign countries.)

For us Reaganites looking for his reincarnation, I think we found him in Big Ben.

Still okay with it. Don’t like selling, giving, loaning to foreign nations that end up being our enemies.

Americans heart Bibi....too bad the American Jews aren’t 100% in their support as many continue to support the jackal in the White House.

I have a much, much greater problem with this current occupant of the white house sending money we don't have to the Arabs, who hate us and want to kill us. The Pakistani situation is illustrative of this.

How do you feel about the $4billion per year we give Pakistan and the untold billions we give to the rest of the Arab world that hates our guts? I say lets cut that aid out and continue to help our friends.

I generally like Rand Paul but I was really disappointd in his immature display yesterday. Just because he opposes foreign aid doesn’t mean he has to protest the speech of one of our best friends.
