So far, today's tsunami has mainly affected Japan -- there are reports of up to 300 dead in the coastal city of Sendai -- but future tsunamis could strike the U.S. and virtually any other coastal area of the world with equal or greater force, say scientists. In a little-heeded warning issued at a 2009 conference on the subject, experts outlined a range of mechanisms by which climate change could already be causing more earthquakes, tsunamis, and volcanic activity.
"When the ice is lost, the earth's crust bounces back up again and that triggers earthquakes, which trigger submarine landslides, which cause tsunamis," Bill McGuire, professor at University College London, told Reuters.

I must have been living in a cave for a while cause I don’t remember any ice covering Japan or the sea surrounding Japan that has recently disappeared.
But, I’m sure the warmers must have evidence of it, right? No? You mean, they have no evidence? Of anything?

That is a fairly short very readable article by one of the world's top researchers on sea level. Here is a summary of his conclusions that I posted a few days ago along with some graphs to illustrate his findings in an historical perspective.

Heard someone on the radio this morning make reference to the fact that the moon has been closer to the earth for a short period and that this might be the cause of the recent earthquake activity.
