In a new book, President Barack Obama is quoted as having stated that race is a "key component" both in the Tea Party's rise and conservative opposition as a whole...
But as soon as one might believe that the conversation is run of the mill, the President begins veering into different regions. For example, Walsh writes (emphasis mine):
"In May 2010, he told guests at a private White House dinner that race was probably a key component in the rising opposition to his presidency from conservatives, especially right-wing activists in the anti-incumbent "Tea Party" movement that was then surging across the country."
And just as bad:
"A guest suggested that when Tea Party activists said they wanted to "take back" their country, their real motivation was to stir up anger and anxiety at having a black president, and Obama didn't dispute the idea. He agreed that there was a "subterranean agenda" in the anti-Obama movementa racially biased onethat was unfortunate..."
That President Obama could believe such things truly shows how out of touch he is. It makes me wonder what else he doesn't understand.

anytime someone says the equivalent of ‘they’re just jealous of me’ red flags go up as to the mental stability of the person making that accusation.
There are a lot of whites that voted for Zero. He just slapped them all in the face.

The foreign occupier is a menace to our nation and damn near everyone living here.
That, and the budget he produces has a lot of red ink in it.
Its not the color of your skin that bothers conservatives, Barry. Its the color of your politics.
Barry is half white, half black, so how does he know if it’s his “whiteness” or “blackness” that people don’t like? But seriously, what he’s saying is that conservative whites would vote, for example, for Joe Biden over Alan Keyes, just because Biden is white. That is an idiotic notion and insulting and demeaning to the white race, which, whether he likes it or not, he is a member of.
What, white people don’t like living in a bankrupt country? We don’t look at the world as a big Rent-A-Center? That we don’t expect others to foot the bill for us?
Tell me Barry, just exactly what racist comment you mean by that?
Race is now just a tool for those who’s arguments cannot stand on the facts.
When Rush said he hoped Obama failed - only those who ARE racists took his statement as racist. All decent and thinking people knew EXACTLY what Rush was saying - and it was exactly what anyone with a brain also was hoping.
He can believe that if he wants, and yes he is hopelessly out of touch. All the more reason to kick his a** out on 2012!
I couldn’t care less if he were green with purple polka dots (or whiter than me), his socialism is what bothers me.
The race racketeering Muslim still trying to play the tired old card..
Oh wow -- that is a great observation!
Captain opposite strikes again, I see.
"Race" was one component where many Americans actually held onto a slight thread of hope when Obama was elected. There was a moment, however brief, right up until Obama screwed up the "oath of office" on inauguration, that maybe he wouldn't be an incompetent traitorous boob we all knew him to be.
After all, America has just elected a man who could be called the first black man to POTUS. We hoped he could rise above race and be a truly competent leader. It was and still is a historical moment.
One that Obama continually insists, through one destructive policy after another, will be considered the worst moment in American history in the minds of thinking Americans now and for generations to come.
Race? Nah, only an idiot thinks it's about race.
thank you,I like to think of that pict as a giant rubber stamp that nullifies all that it covers.
Instead of going issue by issue with libs/leftists as many conservative talk show hosts do, I'd like to see them argue philosophy with the lib morons. I've never actually seen or heard a discussion on basic core principles between conservatives and liberals. The problem I think is lib/leftists like Obama and the like are basically ignorant. Most likely they've probably have never read Friedman, Hayek, Sowell, and the like. They need an education.
F*ck him!
