Some of my favorite times in life have been skiing in the Sierras. Kirkwood and Homewood are my two faves. Damn, I wish I was down there now.

Sounds wonderful! Three feet of new snow—oh, I wish I were there. Of course, that snow is nowhere near as light and dry as Rocky Mountain powder, but it would still be glorious to ski through/in/on.

Watch out for the spring thaw. The American and Sacramento Rivers sometimes overflow their banks if they have a sudden thaw.
