The nation is in shock over the shooting of Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords in Tucson, Arizona today. She has survived surgery and is now probably trying to comprehend the horrific incident. More bad news is now being released. A suspicious package has been discovered near her office.
The police in Tucson, Arizona evacuated Rep. Giffords’ office at about 5 p.m. today, reports KOLD. A suspicious device was found outside of the building of her office. There is no information yet about whether the device was a bomb.
At the time the device was discovered there were about 30 to 40 people outside of the building participating in a vigil. There were also journalists present. KOLD reports that all people outside of the office were relocated to some distance from the building. There is no specific information yet about the package or device.
The bomb squad has been called to the site. They are searching Giffords’ office and the land surrounding the Giffords' work site, reports KPHO.
There are reports in the media now that more than one person may have been involved on the attack on Rep. Giffords. No source has confirmed this information yet. However, Reuters just released a tweet on Twitter saying that authorities are seeking another male in the attack on Rep. Giffords. It will take time for more information to come out about this crime.
For now the nation watches and waits to learn more about the young man who shot so many people today. There is no word yet on what his motivation may have been.

The Left has always been looking for an excuse to try to disarm us, I wouldn't put it past them to try to provide one.

I don’t think this perp was smart enough to build a bomb. He might have been smart enough to scribble some of his crap on a coffee can.
This was a very poorly written piece. However I do have to agree with the author's premise that journalists are something other than "people"
He might have attempted to make a bomb in a paranoid shizophrenic hallucination - or whatever it is they have when there is an episode.
With no chance that it would work. It could have just been a bunch of wires hooked up to a clock and he thought it would work.

I agree because the MSM/CNN were talking about this package yesterday. Is this another one? Someone reported they lit it on fire shooting at it to counter fuse the package or something?
