Democrat Bob “Who are You” Etheridge Finally Concedes to GOP’s Renee Ellmers in NC-CD2 – Video

Here is video of North Carolina Democrat Rep. Bob Etheridge finally conceding defeat to Republican Renee Ellmers in North Carolina’s 2nd Congressional District. The race had been called for Ellmers long ago, and we had already put it in the GOP column. But Etheridge had refused to concede until today.

Etheridge became vulnerable to defeat earlier this year when he approached two young men on a street in Washington who were trying to ask him questions. Etheridge kept asking the men, “Who are you,” and eventually even grabbed one of the guys and pulled him toward him, holding him by the wrist. The video of that incident went viral, and Etheridge was immediately in trouble.

In his concession speech, Etheridge blamed “distortion” and “dirty politics” for his defeat.
