Well, I didn’t see anything really DUFU-worthy anywhere for a Will Pitt Birthday Thread. So, I’ll just say: Will, I hope you’re having a Happy Jack Benny 39th Birthday. Don’t drink too much. Don’t smoke too much. Watch the fried foods—you’re getting older now, you know. And I promise, PJ and I will do up something big for you for your big blowout 40th. Now get some rest!
However, here is something for everybody's thinking cap. The application of statistics and mathematical theory to couponing. No, I'm not kidding. I am no math genius but I do have a pretty good background in math and statistics and notice that I use these tools for planning my scenarios. Often I devise scenarios that no one else thinks of. Example was last week when I had a two-day scenario that netted me lots of FREE Welch's juice. I checked the Web and no one else thought of that scenario. Ditto the same thing for scoring FREE Axe body wash. So what was my secret? The use of mathematics in devising my scenarios. Yeah, they can be complicated scenarios but once you do them, you merely repeat the process without any deviation.
In fact, in just a few minutes I will again be going out and using math to score FREE fish and flaxseed oil pills. I pop them things like crazy since they really do keep your cholesterol down. Also traded some of them on Monday to get a mechanic to do some work on my Coupon Van (obtained via coupons).

I see the makings of a great DUFU thread but will have to wait until AM tomorrow. What happened is that last night I almost fainted from excitement on a new coupon deal I discovered accidentally. I went into a store to get some steak but on the way to the meat dept., I saw a BOGO deal for which I already had a ton of coupons making them FREE. I don’t even want to hint what it is because I only have a few days to get them and don’t want everybody else emptying the shelves. Anyway, tomorrow AM will try to do a DUFU if the DUmmies react in a certain way on a subject.
